Field · Training, cohorts & published tools

If you cannot buy an engagement, this is for you.

The part of our work that reaches organizations which will never be able to purchase a full engagement. By effort, it is the largest thing we do.

What we offer

What we offer

  • The Open Shelf. A free public library of the tools we build: policy templates, forms, checklists, crosswalks, rubrics, and implementation guides, published with plain instructions for adapting them, and maintained rather than abandoned.
  • CARES Cohorts. Small facilitated learning groups in which six to ten organizations build the same system together over a defined period, sharing cost and comparing practice. Grant-subsidized and priced on a sliding scale.
  • Practical training. Workshops and courses on the subjects the sector needs and is rarely taught well: cost allocation, conflict-of-interest administration, audit readiness, supervision documentation, incident reporting, and data protection in regulated settings.
  • Readiness reviews at or below cost for organizations under a specific threat — a corrective action plan, an insurance non-renewal, an accreditation deadline, a leadership departure.
  • Practice research. Published analysis of what is actually breaking in the sector and what has been shown to work, so findings from paid engagements return to the field in generalized form.

What you can run afterward

Everything in the Open Shelf is yours to keep, adapt, and use without asking us. That is the point of publishing it.

How it is delivered

Through The Academy, The Accelerator, The Open Shelf, and Convenings.
